Thompson Enterprises, Inc., a South Carolina limited liability company doing business as Your Home Heroes (“Your Home Heroes,” “YHH,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), respects your privacy.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect information when you interact with us, including through gohomeheroes.com, website forms, live chat, email, phone calls, text messages, quotes, inspections, projects, and other customer or prospective-customer interactions.
Our services are currently offered in the United States, primarily in South Carolina.
1. Information We Collect
Contact Information
We may collect your name, email address, telephone number, property or service address, mailing address if provided, and preferred method of communication.
Property and Service Information
We may collect project descriptions, maintenance needs, property characteristics, requested services, scheduling information, access instructions, estimates and quotes, service and project history, inspection information, and notes relating to work performed or requested.
Photographs and Videos
We may receive or take photographs and videos relating to a property, project, inspection, repair, maintenance issue, or completed work. These may be used for estimating, project documentation, quality control, contractor coordination, training, insurance or dispute documentation, portfolio purposes, and marketing.
When using project photographs or videos publicly, we will make reasonable best efforts to obscure, exclude, or avoid displaying sensitive identifying details, such as house numbers, license plates, personal documents, security information, access codes, or other private information. Customers may request removal of a photograph or video used in YHH marketing by contacting info@gohomeheroes.com. We will make reasonable efforts to honor such requests.
Where additional permission is required by applicable law, including for certain uses of an identifiable person’s image, we will seek that permission.
Communications
We may collect and retain communications you have with us through email, SMS/text messages, phone calls, voicemail, website forms, live chat, and other communication platforms we may use. This can include the content of your communications and information necessary to respond to or document your request.
We do not currently routinely record or transcribe telephone calls. We may introduce call recording or transcription in the future for customer service, quality assurance, training, documentation, or related business purposes. If we do, we will provide notice and obtain consent where required by applicable law.
Website and Technical Information
When you use our website, we or our service providers may automatically collect information such as IP address, browser and device information, pages viewed, referring website or source, approximate geographic information derived from technical data, website interactions, session information, traffic-source and campaign information, cookies, and similar identifiers.
We use this information primarily to operate, secure, measure, and improve our website and understand how customers find and interact with YHH.
Marketing Preferences and Consent
Where applicable, we may maintain records concerning email marketing consent, SMS/text marketing consent, communication preferences, opt-outs and unsubscribe requests, and the source, date, or method through which consent was provided.
Sensitive Information

Our website does not currently collect payment-card information directly. If we later offer online payments through a third-party payment provider, payment information may be collected and processed by that provider in accordance with its own terms and privacy practices.
2. How We Collect Information
We may collect information directly from you; through our website, forms, or live chat; during calls, emails, or text conversations; during quotes, inspections, maintenance visits, or projects; automatically through analytics and website technologies; from contractors or service providers assisting with a project; and from referral sources or other third parties where permitted by law.

We may use personal information to respond to inquiries; provide estimates and quotes; schedule and coordinate work; perform or arrange home services; manage maintenance memberships; communicate about projects; coordinate contractors and specialty professionals; maintain customer and property records; provide customer support; document completed work; address warranty, quality-control, or service issues; improve our services; operate and improve our website; measure website performance and marketing effectiveness; prevent fraud, misuse, or security incidents; maintain accounting, business, insurance, and legal records; resolve disputes; comply with applicable laws; and send marketing communications where permitted and where appropriate consent has been provided.
We do not use personal information to make automated credit, insurance, employment, eligibility, or similar consequential decisions.
4. Contractors and Service Providers
YHH frequently coordinates work involving contractors, tradespeople, inspectors, vendors, or other service providers. When reasonably necessary for a specific project, we may provide these parties with information such as your name, property address, phone number, scheduling information, project description, photographs, access information, and other information reasonably necessary to quote, schedule, coordinate, or perform the requested work.
We do not provide contractors with customer information simply for their independent marketing purposes.
We may also use third-party companies to help operate our business, website, communications, analytics, data storage, customer management, payment processing, advertising, and other business functions.
5. Current Technology and Service Providers
We use Google services that may include Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Google Workspace. Google Analytics and related tools help us understand how visitors use our website, how they arrive at the site, and which pages and actions are most useful. Google Workspace may be used for email, document storage, business records, scheduling, and other operational purposes.
Tawk.to
We may use Tawk.to to provide live-chat functionality on our website. Information entered into live chat may be processed by Tawk.to and YHH and may include messages, contact information, technical session information, and other information you voluntarily provide.
Other Providers
As YHH grows, we may use additional providers for functions such as website hosting, analytics, communications, phone and SMS services, customer relationship management, scheduling, cloud storage, accounting, payments, advertising, marketing, security, contractor coordination, and business operations. We may update this Privacy Policy as our use of these services materially changes.
6. Analytics, Cookies, and Future Advertising
We currently use website analytics technologies to understand traffic and improve our website and services. These technologies may use cookies or similar identifiers.
We do not currently use the website for behavioral advertising or remarketing campaigns. In the future, we may use advertising, remarketing, conversion-measurement, or similar technologies, including services offered by companies such as Google or Meta. If we materially change how personal information or tracking technologies are used, we will update our disclosures and implement consent mechanisms where required by applicable law.
7. Email Marketing
If you provide appropriate permission, YHH may use your email address to send information about YHH services, seasonal maintenance, home-care recommendations, special offers, memberships, new services, and other relevant business communications.
You may unsubscribe from marketing email communications using the unsubscribe method provided in the message or by contacting info@gohomeheroes.com. Service-related or transactional communications may continue when reasonably necessary to provide requested services or administer an existing customer relationship.
8. SMS and Text Messages
If you provide appropriate consent, YHH may send promotional or marketing text messages. Consent to marketing texts is not a condition of purchasing YHH services. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency may vary. You may reply STOP to opt out of promotional text messages or contact info@gohomeheroes.com regarding communication preferences.

9. Sale of Personal Information
Your Home Heroes does not sell personal information.
We also do not currently use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising or similar targeted advertising activities. If our practices materially change in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide any choices or notices required by applicable law.
10. How Long We Keep Information
We may retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for maintaining customer relationships, preserving service and property history, providing future maintenance or repair services, warranty and quality-assurance records, accounting and tax requirements, insurance, legal compliance, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, business operations, and marketing where appropriate consent remains valid.
We do not promise to automatically delete customer information after a fixed period. Information that is no longer reasonably necessary may be deleted, anonymized, or otherwise disposed of in accordance with our business practices and applicable law.

You may contact us to request that we provide information about personal information we maintain about you; provide a copy of certain personal information; correct inaccurate information; delete information where reasonably possible; stop or limit marketing communications; or remove certain project photographs or videos from YHH marketing.

However, no website, electronic communication, storage system, or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. YHH’s website and services are intended for adults and homeowners and are not directed toward children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
